Continuous Fiber Additive Manufacturing (CFAM) is gaining serious attention as aerospace looks for scalable, automated composite solutions
By placing continuous fibers along defined paths using automated systems, CFAM offers new flexibility in structural design while reducing manual processing. As the technology matures, alignment around industrialization pathways, consolidation methods, and manufacturing standards will be key.
A series of upcoming workshops aims to bring the community together to help define that roadmap.
