As we celebrate Engineers Week, we recognize the educators and leaders who shape the next generation of innovators. Professor Jack Vinson co-founded CCM in 1974 and devoted his career to educating and inspiring students. Today, his legacy continues through the Dr. Jack Vinson Scholarship, providing meaningful support to mechanical engineering students at UD.
Beginning May 1, 2026, CCM will also introduce the inaugural Jack R. Vinson Leadership Award, honoring individuals who reflect the leadership, vision, and excellence Professor Vinson championed.
