The University of Delaware Board of Trustees recognized four joint faculty members in the University of Delaware’s Center for Composite Materials with academic promotions and institutional honors. Jason Gleghorn and Christopher Kloxin were promoted to professor with tenure, while Kelvin Fu was promoted to associate professor with tenure. Center for Composite Materials Director Srikanth Pilla was recommended for the Boer Professorship of Engineering in recognition of his research, education and leadership contributions. These faculty milestones strengthen interdisciplinary work across biomedical engineering, materials science and mechanical engineering.
