We are proud to share the highlights from the 2026 SAMPE Baltimore / Washington Chapter Student Symposium, where the UD Center For Composite Materials (CCM) demonstrated a distinguished presence
Congratulations to Dhanashree Shinde for securing first place in the Poster competition and to Uday Kiran Balaga for achieving first place in the Podium category. Their accomplishments underscore the rigorous research standards we uphold at the Center.
Beyond these competitive honors, we would like to give special recognition to Sai Aditya Pradeep, Ph.D., Sagar Doshi, and Erik Thostenson. In addition to their work at CCM, they served as SAMPE B–W officers this year, providing the leadership necessary to foster student research excellence throughout the region.
We also recognize the many CCM students, researchers, and faculty who contributed as presenters, adjudicators, and organizers. We commend everyone involved for their commitment to the advancement of composite materials and for ensuring the continued success of this symposium.
