Former CCM Director Prof. John Gillespie and CCM alum Dr. Subramani Sockalingam are serving as Guest Editors for an upcoming Special Issue focused on processing-structure-property relationships in fibers and fiber-reinforced composites.
This Special Issue welcomes original research spanning both fundamental and applied studies, including:
▪ Advanced structural, polymer, and natural fibers
▪ Fiber–matrix interphases and multifunctional composites
▪ Multiscale modeling (from molecular dynamics to continuum scales)
▪ Novel characterization methods
▪ Contributions with relevance to aerospace, automotive, and defense applications are especially encouraged.
